Returns & Refunds policy

Thank you for shopping at Modern Woodworks Studio. Because all of our products are custom-printed and manufactured uniquely for you upon ordering, we handle returns and cancellations differently than traditional retail stores. Please review our policy below:

Order Cancellations & Changes

Because production begins almost immediately after an order is placed, you are entitled to cancel or modify your order within 2 hours of purchase. After this window, the order moves into custom production, and we are no longer able to cancel it or offer a refund for buyer's remorse or change of mind.

Goods Exempt from Returns

In accordance with standard consumer protection for custom manufacturing, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for buyer's remorse, color preferences, or incorrect size selections. Under law, the following goods are strictly exempt from being returned:

  • The supply of goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized.

  • The supply of goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons (such as face masks or intimate apparel) and were unsealed after delivery.

Damaged or Defective Orders

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or misprinted, we want to make it right as quickly as possible. To file a claim:

  1. Please contact us via email at mwoodworksstudio@gmail.com within 21 days of receiving your package.

  2. Include your order number, a short description of the issue, and a clear photograph showcasing the damage or printing defect.

If the issue qualifies as a manufacturing defect, we will cover 100% of the costs to produce and ship a brand-new replacement to you. Please do not mail damaged items back to us unless explicitly requested.

Lost Orders

If your order is lost during shipment (tracking has completely stopped updating), you must report it to us within 25 days of the estimated delivery date.

  • Carrier Loss: If the order is deemed lost by the carrier and reported within this timeframe, we will cover the full cost of reprinting and reshipping a replacement to you.

  • Delivered Shipments: If the tracking information explicitly shows the package was successfully delivered to the address provided, but you report you did not receive it, we unfortunately cannot cover the cost of a free reprint or reshipment.

Wrong Address & Unclaimed Shipments

  • Incorrect Address: If you provide an address that is considered insufficient or incorrect by the courier, the shipment will automatically be returned to our fulfillment facility. You will be held liable for all reshipment costs once we have confirmed an updated, valid address with you.

  • Unclaimed Deliveries: If a package goes unclaimed at your local post office or courier hub, it will be returned to us. You will be responsible for the cost of reshipping the item.

Important Return Warning

Please contact us at mwoodworksstudio@gmail.com before attempting to mail anything back. Our manufacturing facilities do not accept manual customer returns or exchanges, and any package sent there without prior authorization will be lost or discarded. We cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in unauthorized return shipments.
